Torchwood News Series 3 - Children of Earth

The brand new cast for the third series of Torchwood has been revealed.

The third mini series named "Children of Earth" is now in production, for a scheduled tv slot for spring 2009. Cast members returning are the obvious, John Barrowman, Eve Myles and Gareth David Lloyd. Two more cast members who will have recurring roles are, Tom Price and Kai Owen.

New guest stars who are reported to be starring are, Peter Capaldi and Liz May Brice.

Freema Agyeman Dropped From Torchwood!

It's a little bit sketchy, but some media sources are saying that Freema will not be returning for the third season of Torchwood.
Series three of the show is already in production, ready for screening in early 2009. It's also reported that it will be screened over 1 week, this is sketchy too and not really confirmed (At date of post)

I guess later in the year the BBC will make some kind of news post or website preview of what we can expect in 2009. Doctor Who, which will eturn in 2010, as reported by the BBC might some how be linked to Torchwood? If you saw the season finale of the latest Doctor Who, you will know what happened, who was where and so forth.

Lets hope the BBC does not drop Torchwood after series three, it's a strong popular show in the UK and in the USA on BBC America. I personally dont think i could go through years without the beautiful Gwen Cooper (Eve Myles) gracing my TV screen.

Torchwood Series 3 confirmed

Yes it has finnaly been nailed down secure that Torchwood will be returning to our screens in 2009. Series 3 will see the show maybe running a 5 episode series over the course of a week, 1 episode every night for a week. The casting has not been confirmed, but according to the BBC, we will not be dissapointed with the new casting. Barrowman and Myles have been confirmed as returning. The new shows are already in development and should start filming in August (2008)

The BBC is releasing the first series of the hit tv show Torchwood, on the high quality Blu-Ray disc. Blu-Ray, is the high quality disc format thats slowly overtaking DVD's.
You can now by Blu-Ray movies amd players, the Playstation 3 supports the format, so do a few other consoles too.

Torchwood, I-Tunes and Radio 4 program

Torchwood is to carry on from where it left us after the season 2 finale on BBC Radio 4. The whole cast including, John Barrowman, Eve Myles and everyone else, will be their for this 45 minute show. You can also buy Torchwood at the ITunes online store in the us, and hopefully we will all here something soon about series three of Torchwood, maybe sometime next year the show will return.

Torchwood Series 2 now on BBC2 Fridays

Torchwood has moved from Wednesdays nights to Friday nights at 9pm.
So if your worrying that you have missed the final episodes, or not sure where Torchwood has gone, don't worry it's now Fridays at 9pm.
Not really sure why BBC 2 has decided to change the day so late on in the series, but it still on.
Also, Doctor Who is beginning to get more exposure and advertising on the BBC channels so im sure that it's not far from it's air date, which is only given as Spring 2008 or Coming Soon at the moment.
